Ratlinghope St Margarets

On a perfect, sunny afternoon the quire sang at St Margarets. the event was well attended in this lovely rural setting.

Then after the performance the good people of Ratlinghope treated every one to an alfresco afternoon tea in the beautiful church yard and its surroundings.

‘Old Foster’ performed by the quire, one of their favourites.

Ratlinghope and St Margarets are known for the resting place of the last Sin Eater, Richard Munslow who died in 1906. So the quire stepped out of its West Gallery music to sing a contemporary piece, Sin Eater with the kind permission of John Kirkpatrick the composer.

The Village Band also played some tunes.

Merry month of May

Excellent refreshments

And a chance for members of the quire to talk to audiences.
