A summer afternoon concert at Ford church. The concert was well attended and enjoyed by a very supportive audience. After the performance a tasty spread of warm excellent soups, and buffet food was provided by the organisers followed by a large selection of puddings and cakes.
Once again the quire was hidden behind a Rood Screen but sang and played with gusto thanks to our enthusiastic quire master.
In 1780 John Wesley said "Sing lustily and with a good courage. Beware of singing as if you were half dead, or half asleep." and our Quire Master made a very enthusiastic effort to get the Quire doing just that.
