Oldbury

A concert in a beautiful church where the Quire was received well and given fantastic hospitality by the church members who laid on a spread of hot and tasty food. The smell of it cooking during the performance inspired the quires singing a wonderful evening.

Mow Cop

The quire spent a wonderful day performing on the giddy heights of Mow Cop over 1000 feet above sea level.

Mow Cop famous for its association with Primitive Methodism and managed by the National Trust had a day to celebrate the association.

The quire sang outdoors and in the Methodist Chapel and as usual sang for its supper although this time for lunch, which was excellent.

Almost at the top.

All Saints Church

Almost December and a cold evening saw the quire performing at All Saints Church Broseley. The first half was a selection of West Gallery Songs and Tunes the second half Christmas, early I know, but as always quire members sang them with enthusiasm.

The Village Band played well.

Croft Castle

The Quire in the church at Croft  Photo by Ian West

A day at Croft Castle with only two quire members unable to make it through one of the wettest starts to a day this year. Our singing did bring out the sun and a wonderful light on which to end the day.

The church at Croft

The quire performed three songs and a band tune every hour in the castles Blue Room, what a wonderful venue.

Many thanks to Ian (quire member) and Neil (Seb) for their hard work.
